The HID Signo™ 20K PIV Reader combines a slim mullion-style design with an integrated keypad, making it ideal for door applications that require narrow, multi-factor authentication. Built on the Signo platform, it supports PIV-based credentials with contactless interfaces and includes a Card Authentication Key (CAK) certificate when used with HID pivCLASS authentication solutions.
Designed for high-assurance environments, the Signo 20K PIV Reader meets government security requirements, including FIPS 201 compliance. It supports a wide range of PKI-based credentials such as PIV, PIV-I, CAC, TWIC, CIV, and FRAC, making it well-suited for federal agencies, contractors, and other secure facilities.
As part of the HID pivCLASS ecosystem, the reader delivers fast, reliable performance with enhanced read range and transaction speed while meeting NIST SP 800-116 assurance levels. It is also compatible with legacy HID PIV solutions, helping protect existing investments while enabling flexible integration with a variety of access control systems.
This reader can be customized with multiple credential formats, color options, and mounting or wiring configurations to meet your facility’s needs. With built-in OSDP support and remote management capabilities, it ensures secure communication while minimizing on-site maintenance.
