The HID Signo™ Keypad Reader 40K is part of HID’s advanced Signo platform, delivering secure, flexible, and future-ready access control. Designed for multi-factor authentication, this slim keypad reader supports a wide range of credentials, including cards, key fobs, and mobile devices.
It includes Bluetooth® and NFC for HID Mobile Access, along with Apple Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP) for Apple Wallet credentials. Built with secure element hardware and smart surface detection, it protects cryptographic keys while automatically optimizing read range for reliable performance.
The reader can be customized with multiple credential formats, color options, and mounting or wiring configurations to fit your installation needs. With out-of-the-box OSDP support and remote management capabilities, the Signo 40K helps reduce on-site maintenance and provides a straightforward upgrade path for modern access control systems.
