The HID Signo™ Reader 40 is part of HID’s next-generation Signo platform, providing flexible, secure, and future-ready access control. Designed for versatility, it works with a wide range of credentials, including cards, key fobs, and mobile devices.
Ideal for standard door applications with wall switch mounting, the Signo 40 supports Bluetooth® and NFC for HID Mobile Access, as well as Apple Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP) for Apple Wallet credentials. Its secure element hardware safeguards cryptographic keys while automatically optimizing read range for reliable performance.
The reader can be customized with multiple credential formats, color options, and mounting or wiring configurations to match your facility’s requirements. With built-in OSDP support and remote management capabilities, it ensures secure communication and reduces the need for on-site maintenance.
